The 2nd Malaysian National Seniors Chess Championship 2024 were held for 3 days from 27th December to 29th December 2024 at KL Chess Academy, Desa Sri Hartamas, KL.
At the end of the championship, undefeated retired lecturer Nor Azmi Mohd Nor from Terengganu emerged Champion. For his exploits, Nor Azmi was awarded the title National Senior Master (NSM) by the Malaysian Chess Federation (MCF).
In the above 65yrs category, KLCA’s EXCO and business owner Hj.Ngasiman Sapuan was crowned Champion.
The Championship was jointly organised by KLCA and MCF for the second year running.
Dr. CM Zaidan Zulkipli, MCF Deputy President awarded the prizes to prize-winners.
Chief Arbiter for the event was FA Masha Naizli Menhat and supported by NA Inawarni Ismail as Deputy CA.
IO Amirul HM was the designated Tournament Director.
