In what we believed to be the first chess competition organised at KL’s iconic Merdeka 118, PNB organised its Inter-House Chess Competition on the 92nd floor with assistance from KLCA. The competition were held on 17 – 19 June 2025.
PNB’s CEO Dato’ Rahman also took part in the competition where he spectacularly won his first game with 5minutes remaining, having being delayed due to an earlier obligation.
IO Amirul HM, IA Emran MT and CM Amir Faiz with the assistance of 7M Sports Global help to organise and were the event’s officials. PNB’s Zairul Naim, Farah Ariena and Muhammad Arif were in the organising committee.
