KLCA congratulates Timur Turlov on being the 8th FIDE President, 2026-2028

The Kuala Lumpur Chess Association (KLCA) congratulates Timur Turlov from Kazakhstan for winning the FIDE Elections and being appointed as the 8th FIDE President.

Congratulations as well to former World Champion Viswanathan Anand from India on his re-appointment as FIDE Deputy President.

A good day for Asia as well as Malaysia and KLCA as we had supported them.
