1) The Global Cities Chess Summit 2024 will be held in Laos on 27 September – 6 October 2024.
2) KLCA would like to invite players keen to represent Kuala Lumpur city or form a team in the upcoming Global Cities Chess Summit 2024.
3) All expenses including entrance fee, plane fare and lodgings will be undertaken by the participating players forming the KL team.
4) KLCA will issue a Support Letter to the organisers.
5) Players wanting to represent Kuala Lumpur, MUST fulfilled any of the following:-
A. Played in WP Kuala Lumpur Open Circuit / KL Age Group 2024 or 2023 organised by KLCA; or,
B. Played in WP Kuala Lumpur Women Circuit 2023 organised by KLCA; or,
C. Played in WP SUKMA Selection Circuit 3 or 4 in 2023 organised by KLCA; or,
D. Played in MSSWPKL in 2023 or 2024; or,
E. Represented KL in any previous MSSM competition; or,
F. Represented KL in previous editions of Malaysian Chess Championship, Malaysian Chess Festival or other competitions such as Asian Dragons.
