Reduction in FIDE Sanction Fee to RM50 for FIDE-RATED Competition in KL
(1) KLCA held its AGM on Sunday, 29th December 2024 at Desa Sri Hartamas, KL.
(2) During the AGM, it was proposed for the FIDE Sanction Fee Paid by organisers to be reduced.
(3) The proposal was accepted.
(4) As such, with effect from 1st January 2025 until 31st December 2025, the Sanction Fee to be paid by organisers to KLCA to organise a FIDE-RATED event in KL will be RM50 per competition.
(5) The documents required to be submitted by Organisers for the event to be sanctioned by KLCA remains the same as per KLCA earlier guideline.
(6) KLCA hope more FIDE-RATED events will be organised in KL this 2025.
